Gmail Notifier Pro - Windows 7 information

Gmail Notifier Pro is fully Windows 7 compatible.

Windows 7 support

Gmail Notifier Pro supports 32-bit & 64-bit Windows XP, Windows Vista & Windows 7.

Windows 7 & UAC

When installing Gmail Notifier Pro using the MSI-installer, administrator privileges are required. If User Access Control (UAC) is enabled, Windows 7 will prompt for administrator password in the UAC dialog.

No administrator privileges are needed to run Gmail Notifier Pro. However, if upgrading Gmail Notifier Pro to a newer version, Windows 7 will prompt for administrator password in the UAC dialog.

The Gmail Notifier Pro download page also contains a ZIP archive that includes all files needed to run Gmail Notifier Pro without making any installation. Using this download doesn't require Windows administrator privileges.

All Windows 7 information also applies for Windows Vista.

Windows 7 & .NET

Gmail Notifier Pro requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 to run. Windows 7 and Windows Vista already includes .NET. For Windows XP, the installation can be downloaded from Microsoft
